If you want to take on the challenges of tomorrow, you need more than outstanding technical qualifications. Our employees have to grasp complex relationships, think beyond their own workspaces and assume responsibility.
A dual course of study, which alternates every three months between KOCH and the Horb campus of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart, enables you to do both. In the theoretical part of your education you attend lectures on basic subjects as well as occupation-specific subjects. We will first teach you basic skills and let you familiarize yourself with work processes. We will then introduce you to technical fields of work and assist you with your bachelor's or master's thesis.
At KOCH Pac-Systeme, you will find future-proof courses of study that offer excellent career prospects. After you graduate, you can join us right away and further expand your qualifications – at our headquarters in Pfalzgrafenweiler or our facilities in France, China, Singapore, India and the US. Twelve students pursuing a dual course of study currently work at KOCH. When are you going to join us?
With a bachelor of mechanical engineering, you will work on the development and design of our packaging systems. At the cooperative university, you will attend math, engineering mechanics, engineering physics and electrical engineering lectures. The practical part of your training consists of metalworking and design and you learn how consistent quality is created throughout the entire production process. On your own or as part of a team, you will optimize work and operational processes internally and at our machines. You always keep an eye on the product, quality, deadlines, costs and technologies.
Your work comprises the entire electrical design of our packaging systems. The lectures at the cooperative university deal with electrical engineering, electronics, math as well as programming, control technology and engineering mechanics. A focus on automation will qualify you to develop and plan our highly automated systems and lines. In the areas of digital technology, micro processor technology and network technology, you learn to command complex KOCH controllers with ease and to get our packaging systems to run.
