Victorinox is a global company that has five product categories: Swiss Army knives, household and professional knives, watches, travel gear and fragrances. The long- established Swiss brand is best known for its ‘Swiss Army Knife’ that has been manufactured for over 100 years in Ibach-Schwyz in the heart of Switzerland. Over time, numerous knife variants were added, and the range now extends from the small paring knife to the Officer’s Knife with 33 functions.
Solution
- Compact machine based on the KOCH Blister Machine KBS-PT with octagonal pallet transport
- Products are manually inserted into the blisters, followed by a front card placer, a cover card placer, a sealing station, and a product remover
- Two integrated labelers for barcodes, radio frequency (RF) or acousto-magnetic labels for greater anti-theft protection
We have been working with KOCH for more than 30 years and currently have two blister machines from Pfalzgrafenweiler in operation. We package more than 100 different products in materials ranging from cardboard mono-material packaging to double-carded theft- proof plastic blisters.
